Well, we are still without power. It has been 10 days. Last night we spent the night at home for the first time since the hurricane. Thanks to the generosity of some friends who have their power restored, we have a generator and wall unit that we are using. It was so nice to sleep in my own bed last night! And so nice to just be back in comfortable surroundings. It is so true, "There is no place like home." Everyone we know has pretty much gotten their power back on, including half of our neighborhood!! So I can only hope we are next on the list. You will probably hear me shouting for joy when the lights do finally come back!!!!

Glad to hear you all are safely returning home. Hopefully the electricity will spread your way shortly. I know the Bice's have it now...maybe your next!
Just think of all the money you have saved on electricity...haha!! Hope you guys have power soon and things get back to normal.
