Dorothy

Meet our new pet goldfish Dorothy.

We went to Corbin's Elmo birthday party this weekend and we got her as our party favor! Impressive, I know! For those of you "non Elmo watchers", Dorothy is Elmo's pet goldfish!

The kids are having a blast watching her, feeding her and checking on her each time we come home. However, her water is looking a little cloudy tonight, so lets hope I can keep her ahem afloat!

Just Like Daddy

Jacob loves his mama, but he is definitely a Daddy's Boy! He wants to be like Daddy when he grows up, can't wait for Daddy to get home from work everyday, and always says things like "I want to fill in the blank here just like Daddy does". He has an obvious admiration for him.

So lately he has been wanting to sleep in Daddy's t-shirts instead of his pajamas.

And he couldn't be happier!

Jekyll & Hyde

I took these pictures last week but just haven't had time to write a post about it. It seems that my newly two year old can change from Jekyll to Hyde in a matter of seconds. LITERALLY.

Here she is throwing herself on the floor having a fit...

Not even 5 seconds later, I said her name & she looked up and smiled... Oh well. At least the fit didn't last long. However, is this a precursor to the hormonal teenage years???? yikes!

Lollipop, Lollipop, Oh Lolly Lolly Lolly...Lollipop!

Olivia's 2nd birthday bash was a lollipop theme. It turned out pretty cute, if I must say so myself! I have to admit the few days before were a bit frazzled with Jacob coming down with strep throat, me working and having tons of last minute party errands to run, and an 80% chance of rain in the forecast....but in the end it all worked out! Jacob was feeling better and was well in time to go to the party (thank you Amoxicillin) and although it was drizzly and VERY humid, the rain held off and the kids were able to play at the park. Note to self: Don't plan an outdoor party during hurricane season!

There were lots of sweet treats and sweet friends!

Today you turn two, my sweet baby girl. I can hardly believe it has been two years since you made our family complete. You are such a blessing and I cannot imagine life without you!

You like: your "nighty", getting into mommy's jewelry box, playing in Jacob's room, eating ice cream, playing outside, drinking milk, playing in your kitchen, going places, bananas, applesauce, your new backpack, pulling out an entire box of baby wipes one by one, giving hugs

You are: funny, smart, bashful, opinionated, sweet, energetic, playful, and full of smiles
