Our Little Graduate

Last week Olivia graduated from Pre-K!!  Jacob got to leave school early in order to come to her graduation and we had a great day celebrating our little graduate.

Then it was diploma time!  As each child got theirs, the teachers shared what the kids want to be when they grow up. 

Olivia wants to be a fairy princess. No surprise there!

 I surprisingly held it together much better than I thought I would.  A part of me is sad that I won't have a preschooler, but on the other hand I know its time and she is ready!  I am going to enjoy having both kids at the same school next year, finally!

The Little Mermaid

As I have posted before, we LOVE going to the CYT productions and this last one was the best yet! Just when I thought they couldn't top Grease, The Little Mermaid was outstanding!  The costumes were very elaborate, the music was fun, and of course who doesn't love a mermaid/prince love story!

Mothers Day

At Faith Kids this year, we decided to try something new and have a Mother's Day Picnic as opposed to the traditional "Muffins with Moms".  The kids came in and sang two songs and then we had a picnic style lunch. It was so cute and a sweet time with my Livvy Lou!

 

After lunch, we went to the classroom to get our Mother's Day gifts. So precious!!

Anchors Away!

Craig and his business partner recently got a boat. To say Craig was excited about it, would be an understatement. Me and the littles got the chance to to go out on it a few weeks ago.  We are looking forward to many more times on the water this summer.  Looking forward to making many memories together!

Third Grade Field Trip

Jacob's 3rd grade field was to Minute Maid Park this year.  We took a tour of the stadium, went in the dugout, sat in the press box, and even got to sit behind home plate! However, we did NOT step on the grass! They made it very clear to keep off the grass :)  We had a fun time learning about the history of the Astros and getting a behind-the-scene look at the ballpark!

Grease!

A few weeks ago Jenny & I took the girls to see one of our favorite movies, live on stage.  It was a really cute performance with lots of singing and dancing!  The girls even got to meet Sandy after the show was over.  If you are local, I highly recommend you checking out what shows CYT are doing.  We have to been several and never been disappointed. In fact, we are going again to see The Little Mermaid this Friday :)
