Ice Skating

After trampoline fun, we took the kids ice skating for the first time and they had a BLAST!

This will be a new tradition for sure!

The day after looked like this....

It took Craig, Grandpa, and Uncle Chris a few hours to get the trampoline assembled. It was cold and they did a great job!

Christmas Day

Santa came!!! And he did not disappoint!
 A trampoline!!!

The weather was crazy that day and our power was out so we headed over a little early to spend the rest of the day with family.  We did a white elephant exchange for the first time and it was such a hoot!

Can't wait to do it again next year!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was another busy day! Grandpa took us all shopping for our Christmas goodies and then we enjoyed a yummy lunch at Landrys! That afternoon, we went to church and then came home for yet another great meal, this time prepared by Craig. We really enjoyed being home this year so we could go to the kids service at church.  Last but not least it was time for presents!!!

When presents were done, we set out our cookies and milk for Santa plus the carrots for the reindeer.  Then it was time for bed so that the big guy himself could make his appearance :)

A Christmas Surprise!

Grandpa and Uncle Chris arrived on the 23rd as a surprise to the kids!  Craig left to go to the store and returned with our two guests!  It was so fun to surprise the kids and we had a great 5 days with them here.  We kept them super busy starting off with the Evening with the Elves at Rob Fleming Park.

The kids did crafts, we ate dinner, played Christmas BINGO, and then of course
one last visit to Santa...which Jacob decided he was too cool for! Ha Ha

As if that wasn't enough fun, when we got home we finally tackled the gingerbread house kit that had been sitting on top of the fridge for 2 weeks. The kids had been begging me to do it but we honestly just hadn't had the time.  I enlisted the help of Uncle Chris, afterall isn't that what uncles are for?

Great job kids mom!
