Field Trip Flop

Today was supposed to be Jacob's first ever field trip! All the kindergartners were going to the Houston Zoo. I even took a personal day off work so that I could go and be "Jacob's mom" and not "a teacher". Well, unfortunately my poor buddy woke up sick this morning. He had a fever and just was not himself. He was DEVASTATED that he was missing his first and ONLY field trip of the year. He has talked about it off and on all day. I feel so bad for him. Looks like we will be taking a family trip to the zoo soon to make up for it!

AlMOST Wordless Wednesday: TuTu Cute!

We went shopping over the weekend and got Olivia some new pajamas. Daddy insisted she get the ones that had a tutu on them! I think it was a good choice, don't you?

Movie Night

After a L-O-N-G week, we decided to wind down with one of our favorite traditions on Friday.....Movie Night!!! We made a pallet on the floor, Daddy brought home Monsters Vs. Aliens & candy and I ordered pizza!

Pretty sure eating candy was almost more fun than the movie watching! (caught her in the middle of a sour bite!)

Unfortunately me and the kids were so wiped out that we didn't even make it through the whole movie! But don't worry, Jacob has watched it about 4 times over the course of the weekend, so I think he made up for it!
