Pre-K Christmas Program

Last week was a busy one for us!  On Thursday, Olivia had her Christmas program at school.  It was pajama day so all the kids and us teachers, were dressed accordingly.  She sang Mary had a Baby Boy, Jingle Bells, and Happy Birthday Jesus.

And then the camera died :(
All those sweet little voices and faces were adorable!

Santa's Wonderland

For the past few years, we have been wanting to visit Santa's Wonderland to see what the hype was all about.  On Monday night, we were finally able to venture to College Station and see it for ourselves.  The afternoon didn't exactly go as planned....I locked my keys in the car when I went to pick up Olivia from school, we had to make a pit stop on Navasota along the way, and the restaurant we met the Olivers at took forever to get us a table! Nevertheless, we ended up having a great time....the weather was chilly, the lights were amazing, and the kids had a blast!

We finally made it!

Hayride through the lights

I loved that they had a manger scene!

That was followed by this amazing scene of Jesus and angels. Beautiful!

After the hayride, we spent some time in Santa's town, complete with Texas snow!

Thanks for joining us Olivers. It was fun!

Breakfast with Santa

Last weekend, while Craig was out of town, I took the kids to see Santa.  We decided to try something new this year and have breakfast  at The Woodlands Resort and Convention Center where Santa was  awaiting our arrival!  Before we ate, the kids dashed over to sit with him.  It was so nice that no one was waiting in line!!!!

Olivia asked for a scooter and Jacob asked for a new XBox game.

After we ate, the kids wanted to go back up and sit with Santa individually. I got some really cute shots. Such a good looking Santa!

When breakfast was over, we went to the lobby and watched a magic show put on by the 'Snow Princess".  Olivia got picked to go up and be a part of the show. Of course, she was all over that!

When we were walking out, we found this cute backdrop and couldn't pass up one more photo opp!

Trimming the Tree

I think we set a record this year for having our tree up earlier than it ever has been before. With Thanksgiving being early and our crazy schedule, last weekend was the only time we had available to get the lights, tree, and decorations up.  I am loving it so far.  Tis the Season!!!!!

Cheer Clinic

Yesterday Olivia and her friend, Sophie went to the Pee Wee Cheer Clinic hosted by Oak Ridge High School.  All the junior and senior cheerleaders are there and they coach the girls for a few hours teaching them tumbling, dance moves, and stunts.  At the end, the parents are invited to come back and watch them show off.  They had a blast!

Thanksgiving at the Frisbys

Brad and Mandi hosted Thanksgiving this year at their new house in Dripping Springs.  We decided to go a day early and make the most of our visit.  The kids had so much fun playing with their cousins who they don't see often enough, hint hint!  It was a typical holiday, you know where the men were outside glued to the TV watching football and the women stayed inside tending to the food and the munchkins.  Luckily, the weather was gorgeous and the kids were glad to take advantage of it! Despite the menu, which was non-traditional and consisted of red beans and rice, gumbo, fajitas, queso, and salsa we all managed to eat until our bellies were full....and then some.

I hope your Thanksgiving was special too!
