New Year's Resolutions

I forgot to add this funny story to my blog about our trip. On New Years Day, we were eating dinner and Uncle Alex asked the kids (Maddie, Will, Jacob) what they would like to do better this year or something new they would like to try and do. So, Maddie started and like any good little girl would say, she stated that she would like to help her mommy more around the house by doing chores like vacuuming and dishes. Wow! we are off to a great start here! Continuing with the positive and might I say productive resolution, Will said that he would like to eat more vegetables in 2008. Again, we were all impressed! What great ideas so far. So then we get to my child.........he proceeds to tell us that this year he would like to learn to drive a truck AND eat more candy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What can I say? In the mind of a 3 year old, this is priceless. And hey, at least one of them is farly obtainable, right??? And, after Will heard this idea, he decided to revoke his plan for veggies and go with jacob on the more candy idea. Glad my kid can be a good influence on others :)
