Giving Thanks

We have many blessings to be thankful for this year. Being grateful and appreciative is very important to me and in an effort to reinforce this with Jacob and Olivia, we created a "thankful window". Inspired by an idea I saw online, but adapted to my lack of space and creativity :) The pumpkin says "Season of Thanks" and each night we wrote something we were thankful for on a leaf. The kids loved the idea and it will definitely be a new tradition for us!

We were very busy Thanksgiving Day prepping, cooking, cleaning, serving, etc. for the 22 of us that were at my house! It was a busy but great day with family members from both sides. We were blessed to have great grandparents, sisters, aunts, uncles, and cousins with us.

MeMe preparing her infamous macaroni and cheese!

She is so special to me! Aunt Michelle & Olivia Me and the cook! The kids kept themselves busy outside! Before we ate, I asked each of the big kids if they would read part of a Thanksgiving story. It told of how the Pilgrims made their way to America and what the first feast was like. The kids did a GREAT job! Me and my girl
The end of the night..... Hope your Thanksgiving was as lovely as ours!
