As I said in my last post, we went to Boerne on Friday and spent about 24 hours (literally) with my sister and her family. It was a fun time, despite the crazy weather.....yes it actually rained in the hill country!!! We managed to sneak a trip to the pumpkin patch in between rain showers. I always love pumpkin patch pics!
Soon after this picture was taken, the bottom of a rain cloud fell out and dumped on us. After being drenched and a mishap with Will's eye and the umbrella (don't ask) we took the boys back to the house. Then some of us girls went back downtown to stroll through Market Days. After a little shopping and lunch, we went back to the house and the kids played a few more hours before it was time to go. They had so much fun kayaking with the daddies, but unfortunately I didn't have my camera down by the creek. They also decided to swim in the cold water before we left. Can't believe they did it, but as you can tell from the look on Jacob's face, he didn't care!

If you know anything at all about our family, you know that once September is here, our life revolves around football. So needless to say, we had to leave Boerne in time to make kickoff of the Texas Tech vs. aTm game that evening. Well, it IS the biggest game of the year, in my opinion! Too bad we didn't win....
Donned in Tech gear and ready to go.
Bye Angel!!!!
