I am very proud to say we now have a boy scout in the family!
Jacob is a wolf which is what 2nd graders are called and yesterday he had his first boy scout event called the Raingutter Regatta! We had heard from several people what a fun event this was so we were excited to participate for the first time! Craig and Jacob worked all week long on making his boat for the race. After cutting, sanding, painting, decorating, etc. the boat was finally finished just a few short hours before the race started!
Each boy had to blow his boat through the water and the first one to the end was the winner.... 
And he wins the first heat!
In his 2nd heat, he went up against one of his very best buddies.
Friendly competition :)
Unfortunately, he didn't win the second time, but a good time was had by all :)
