As in Easter tradition, we spent the weekend at MeMe's. Craig took Good Friday and Monday off so we were able to make a long weekend out of it. We had a nice relaxing weekend spending time with family and of course all things Easter! On Friday, a few of us headed "into town", (yes it is a trip to just get into town) I was going to get a pedicure and decided to take Olivia with me for the first time! She wasn't sure what to think at first, but ended up loving it!! On Saturday the whole crew (minus MeMe and Ben) went to cousin Hunter's baseball game. He is quite the athlete and we had fun watching him pitch, catch, and hit!
After the game, we all had a big lunch and then surprised MeMe with a birthday cake! Her 87th birthday was the following week so we wanted to acknowledge it while we were all together. She was definitely surprised!!
That evening, all the guys headed to the minor league baseball game in Roundrock so it was just us girls. We had a fun night dyeing eggs, playing cards, and making Easter baskets. Here are Olivia and her cousin Lily continuing one of my favorite Easter traditions.
The girls did a great job and the Easter Bunny certainly appreciated their help :)
