As everyone in the house in now asleep, I lay here awake thinking of how truly blessed I am to be a mom. Mothers Day is always bittersweet for me...... having lost my own mother at the delicate age of 13, it took me many years to fully enjoy this day again. But I try to focus on the sweetness, instead of the bitterness. And these two monkeys make it all worth it......!
I had a great day that started with breakfast in bed!
But honestly, our day wasn't entirely perfect.
As you can see, it was like most days in the life of a mother...
Entirely unpredictable, but oh so rewarding.
Thank you Jacob & Olivia. I consider it an honor to be your mommy and love you to pieces!!!!
