Friday we made history in Houston! It was the earliest date that we have ever had snow!! Snow is rare here to begin with, but to fall this early was unheard of! And to make it even better, the district I work for decided to have Early Release and school got out at 11:00!!
Unfortunately, parts south of us got way more snow and theirs actually stuck. The snow up here was pretty light and did not stick to the ground. Despite this, the kids managed to still have a wonderful time and didn't seem to mind the lack of snow! They were just happy we had any at all!!!

Not a great one of the kids but you can actually see the wee bit of snow on the fence! Can you believe we got out of school for THAT??? Ha Ha!
