Christmas Eve

The morning of Christmas Eve, we packed up the car (to the ceiling) and headed to Burnet to spend Christmas with extended family. This year, Craig's mom was visiting so she got to come along for the trip. I wish I would have taken a picture of the car because we had things piled everywhere and stuffed in every corner! Reminded me of the Griswold's minus Aunt Edna on the roof!

After a long 5 hour drive, we made it. The kids were so excited to see their cousins and ALL the presents piled under the tree.

It wasn't long before Miss O was caught trying to tear into some packages! BUSTED

We had a delicious meal of Italian pot roast with about 10 side dishes. Seriously, I can't even name them all! We were too stuffed for dessert right away, so we took some pictures...

And then gave up!

Finally, on to present time!!!

Poor Jacob didn't have much to open! hee hee And Olivia could hardly contain herself! Yippee!! Let the unwrapping begin...

All that unwrapping was hard work. And after a long road trip, the excitement of the day and no nap, Olivia was tired to say the least!

We eventually got all the kids to bed....which was a good thing because Santa had a lot of work to do!
